What the Opportunity entails:
A delightful and interesting elderly man with a good sense of humour is offering low cost accommodation in his lovely home to a young adult Sharer, in exchange for about 10 hours of practical help and companionship each week.
This Homeshare opportunity would suit someone who either works or studies and would be able to give friendly support and companionship to the homeowner in the evenings and a few hours at the weekend, as well as the reassurance to him and his caring family that someone is there overnight.
The accommodation on offer to the Sharer is a large double bedroom with its own private bathroom on the top floor of a detached house. The house is in a quiet residential area and has a beautiful garden.
This gentleman was widowed a few years ago and his three daughters, who live close by, visit regularly and are often accompanied by their adorable dogs. However, he would welcome the friendly support and companionship of a kind Sharer who can prepare and sometimes share meals, carry out some light housework and accompanying him on outings such as walks, to the shops or maybe to the theatre.
This Homeowner enjoys chatting and being in the company of others, getting out and about, watching sports and documentaries on television and playing cards.
A driver would be useful but not essential. A cleaner comes to the house regularly.
