We are very happy to offer a new and lovely homeshare opportunity in north west London. Available from: Mid-January 2022.

Homeshare Location:

Only a moment’s walk to Brent Cross underground station (Northern Line) and to many regular bus routes across  north and central London.

Accommodation on Offer:

Large and bright double bedroom with good wardrobe space and chest of drawers, room for a desk, and shared use of a modern bathroom, big kitchen, living areas and garden. There is good wifi available.

What the Opportunity Involves:

A gentle, kind and chatty lady in her mid-80’s is looking to share her warm and well maintained family home with a mature female Sharer, in return for some friendly companionship, and the reassurance and peace of mind that someone else is in the home overnight.

Our homeowner is originally from the Canary Islands and speaks fluent Spanish and English. From having had an active life, and a very busy household, caring for her large family over many years, she now spends a lot of time at home alone and she misses having some company particularly in the evenings. Her family, who live close by, stay in regular touch and she has support during the day midweek.

This opportunity would suit someone who is a mature student, or someone working – a kind, empathetic lady who likes to be home most evenings and is happy to spend some time chatting with our homeowner and sharing some meals together, or watching television. No personal care is required or permitted.

A friendly person who enjoys listening to stories and has stories to share would be ideal, and if you speak Spanish, that’s a bonus, but it is not essential as our homeowner has lived in London most of her life.

Our homeowner is partially sighted and is also a little hard of hearing but wears a hearing aid. She enjoys eating healthy simple Mediterranean food and watching a good crime drama on television, and going out for meals with her family.

Cost: £199 per month

This fee is a monthly facilitation fee for our matching and ongoing monitoring service. You do not pay the rent to the homeowner. Bills are included however you may need to make a small contribution towards council tax if you are working. (Full-time students are exempt).
